Weidenfeld and Hoffmann Scholarships for 2022 will support the pursuit of graduate degrees at Oxford University by outstanding students from emerging economies throughout Asia, Africa and South America.

The scholarship program is also managed by the Weidenfeld-Hoffmann Trust. The Weidenfeld and Hoffmann Scholarship Program course starts Jan 2022 and the place of study is University of Oxford, United Kingdom.

Lord Weidenfeld’s 95th birthday led to the creation of the Weidenfeld and Hoffmann Scholarships and Leadership Program in 2015.

During June 2017, Chairman André Hoffmann pledged an extra donation of £ 9m to the Trust, which will be matched by a donation of £ 6m from Oxford University, increasing the size of the Weidenfeld and Hoffmann Scholarships and Leadership Program.

Benefits of Weidenfeld and Hoffmann Scholarship

The scholarship will also cover 100% of University and college fees and a grant for living costs (of minimum of £15,609). Awards are later made for the full period of your fee liability for the agreed course.

Eligibility for Weidenfeld and Hoffmann Scholarship at Oxford University

You must also be applying to start an eligible course at Oxford, and you must be ordinarily resident in an eligible country (you can view the complete list on the official website).  However, you should plan to return to your country of ordinary residence after completing your course.

Applicants must demonstrate a commitment to serving the global community through the field of work they choose. In addition to showing a connection between your subject of study and your future career objectives, you should also explain how your professional work contributes to the development of public life in your country of origin or at a wider regional or international level.

How to Apply for Weidenfeld and Hoffmann Scholarship

However, in order to be regarded for this scholarship, you must select the Weidenfeld and Hoffmann Scholarship Program in the Funding section of the University’s graduate application form and submit your application for graduate study by the appropriate December or January deadline for your course which is 7 January or 21 January 2022. You must finish with a Weidenfeld-Hoffman Scholarships Statement and upload it together with your graduate application form by the deadline.
